Syncthing

Syncthing is a free and open-source file synchronization client-server application implementing its own block exchange protocol. It replaces proprietary sync and cloud services such as DropBox with an open, trustworthy and decentralized application. It is designed for efficient synchronization of many folders and devices. The source code of Syncthing is available under the Mozilla Public license version 2.0.

We use it for some EvoluData Syncthing folders, particularly for storage of media assets for the marketing department.

Do not use Syncthing on devices that do not have full-disk encryption, especially devices that may be donated to someone else (as seen in item153476#threadId110807 for example).
