Description

In some/many situations, when creating a wiki page, I would like to tell X, Y, or Z individual person (or group) to be notified that I created the page, without having to manually tell them through some other means (which is an extra step, that I may forget, and just creates more work for me). This allows

  • Avoiding (to an extent) the occasional problem of people all creating new redundant pages in their own little corners without knowing that someone else had created the same page recently. That said, this is not really a replacement for item81603, of course.
  • It allows saving time by not having to use a second tool (chat, email, shouting across an office, etc.) to communicate the existence of new content
